In January 2026 the Ozaukee Press reported that some roads near Vantage Data Centers' Lighthouse Campus construction site in Port Washington, Wisconsin were already showing damage from dozens of heavy trucks a day hauling soil and stone, and that Ozaukee County had no agreement with Vantage to repair county roads (the city of Port Washington does). The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office increased patrols on the truck route after speeding and noise complaints, and CBS 58 reported road damage along the route.
