Partially confirmed

Beverly and Jeff Morris, whose home in Mansfield, Georgia is about 1,000 feet from Meta's $750 million data center, told the BBC and The New York Times that construction beginning in 2018 left sediment in their private well and their taps eventually ran dry, forcing them to haul water. Meta disputes the connection and says an independent groundwater study it commissioned found no adverse effect. Partially confirmed: the household damage is reported, but its cause is disputed.
